Car maintenance
If you have a car lover in the family, or maybe a teenager about to get their license, this class will be full of hands-on tasks to ensure your vehicle is kept in top shape. The students will get the opportunity to change windshield wipers, check fluids, check tire pressure, understand warning lights and much more! We will also discuss what to do in a road side emergency and how to troubleshoot problems. It's never too early to learn maintenance and safety tips for driving! For the parents and younger siblings, there will be a play area set up with age-appropriate cars, toys, tools and books to enjoy! The students will go home with a printed packet of useful information, resources, references and the confidence to care for the vehicles in their lives. Come tinker in our shop and get a little greasy!
